and that the relation thus formed shall have a lasting, useful, and
honorable existence.
The Board instruct their solicitors to prepare, in accord-
ance with the recommendations of the committee on affiliation, a
contract of lease of those portions of the buildings hitherto occupied
by the Medical Faculty, in which it shall be provided that the
rent shall be payable to the Treasurer to the Board in equal portions on
the first day of April and on the first day of October and that either
party may on either of these days in any year give six month's notice
of the termination of the contract, and agree that the same shall be
in force so soon as it shall be signed by the chairman of the Board
in behalf of the Board, and by the President of the Royal College
of Physicians and Surgeons in behalf of the College, and further ap-
point Professor Williamson to be associated with a gentleman to be
named by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons for the pur-
pose of making an Inventory and appraisement of the Books, Specimens,
Models, Apparatus and Firniture, being the property of this University,
and contained in the buildings hitherto occupied by the Medical Fac-
ulty, after the Professor of Natural History shall have removed what
may be necessary for theillustration of his lectures-
which Inventory and appraisement shall be placed in the
hands of the Secretary to the Board and be by him submit-
