My dear Mrs. Gage.

Your encouraging letter Sept. 12. which has showed me your continual true strong working in our cause has by reading and considering its proposals with my radical friends and before the meeting of our Club strengthened our will to cooperate with the Nat. W.S. Ass.

The radical democratic Club proposed to adovate a circulation of a Memorial to Congress this fall-and a protest after Congress shall have failed to comply with our demands.

Our Club answrs you in a short and decided way to prepare such a memorial and obliges itself to carry its part for printing 1000 copies of them.

We reach about 400 decided radicals
