Seventeen years later, for reasons unknown he moved to Agra, 20 miles away and Fatipur Siki was deserted. The remarkable thing is that 350 years have not destroyed the buildings. We arrived at 10 am and wandered about until 2 pm, climbing to some high places where beautiful views could be had. There were many beautiful buildings inside a high wall, elaborately carved. The finest is a mosque, very beautiful and in the court is the tomb of the saint - the gem of the whole place...
