there every week, and had the pleasure of being chairman of the
committee of Equity Congress in New York, at which place
Mr. Mitchel sopke on Wednesday night last. I send you herewith

No. 6- Refers to the appointment of Postmaskers and
internal revinue collectors in the south.

No. 7- The negro democrats particularly disappointed
office seekers, are telling of their sacrifices, and
regret ing being disappointed. Many believe republicans
filed untrue charges against them, for no other reason than
to humiliate them,knowing them to be untrue.

Something must be done to clarify the situation unknown word .
I am willing to undertake the task with the President or your
approval. Our State Association is in good working order,
and ready for the battle. We will do our part for our cause.
