Status: Needs Review

Administration, as you spoke before your
election, because of this one reason a-
mong many others, you are a Presbyterian.
Mr. President I beg of you, I pray God
without ceasing that you will relieve
the situation. You have the courage,
you have the power, you have the
right. Teach the country what the
"new liberty" is as it relates to the
Race problem. Over fifty years ago
Abraham Lincoln gave to the country the
Emancipation Proclamation. We are cele-
brating now the 50th Anniversary of
that event. Will you not, Mr. President,
seize the opportunity and go down in
History as the Emancipator into the "new
liberty."

That God will give you strength,
wisdom and grace is the Prayers of an
obedient and respectful citizen.

Faithfully yours
Walter [?]
