Status: Needs Review

President Wilson, #2 Mar. 28, 1914.

divine lessons that they should know.

I am positive that you will be the nominee for 1916, and
I am also positive that no three men in the world can defeat you
especially when I consider that you are backed up by that eminent.
upright, Christlike man, Hon. Wm. Jennings Bryan. I have great
respect for Mr. Bryan, and it is a source of real pleasure and gratifi-
cation to me to know that he has the foremest place in your Cabinet.

God bless you, Mr. Wilson, and your dear family, and I
desire God to bless Mr. Tumulty and his family, because I have great
respect for your private secretary, and on closing I may add that I am
not in faver of the negros failing to trust completely their
troubles being properly handled by the best whites of our country,
and I think if more negroes would go out on farms instead of dabbling
in politics, they would be far better off.

I have the honor to remain,

Your very obedient servant,
S. S. Furr
