Dear Mr. President:
White House
Washington, D. C.

Despite my knowedge of your
overwhelming cares I venture to send
you a clipping from the London Daily News,
with a thoughtful article on the color problem,
which may interest you.

By a strange chance, on the back of
the clipping please note the Salvation Army
Congress proceedings. May not the
Salvation Army be drawing us the way
out of the white man's dilemma?

I have read your Independence Square
oration with great interest. God keep
you, my dear friend.

Yours sincerely,
Theo Wright
