His Excellency, the President of the United States.

Do this and secure to yourself and the govemment, the prayers,
gratitude and loyal support of our national interests, instead
of the indifference, questionings, maledictions and inpracations
now eminating from hosts of your constituents.

This communication is sent with the clearest conviction
that prompt and favorable action upon its suggestions will
prove one of the greatest sources of satisfaction to your excelling
during the remainder of your incumbency as President, which
may be another term, and also the most effective and
progressive constructive executive act ever performed for
Colored people in America, the Emancipation Proclamation
not excepted.

Please do not overlook nor underestimate to the fact
and power of prayer, instead of indifference; of goodwill
instead of bitterness, of confidence instead of dread and suspicion,
of readiness to cheerfully cooperate, instead of a possible
thought of opposition in case of great national stress.

I am, honored sir, With great respect
and for the advancement of our Father's kingdom
