JUNE 11TH
DR. BOOKER T. WASHINGTON'S LETTER.

I have read with interest the outline of your
organization. The object seems to be worthy and
I hope the movement will meet with the succeess
it deserves.

At this distance, however, I do not see how
I can be of much assistance to the work you
outline.

Thanking you, however, for writing me so
fully in the matter.

I am very truly yours,
BOOKER T. WASHINGTON.
