scarcity of money in this section caused
by the low price for cotton and also
a fire caused the lost of the New Methodist
Church (white). About $40,000 is sad blow
to our enterprize. We hope that you
will see your way clear to favor us
with a donation let it be ever so small
it will be appreciated. You may send it
to Mr W. J. Bethea Cashier of the Bank of Dillon
or Mr J. W. Dillon Prest of the Peoples Bank
or Mr R. H. Rogers Supt of Education.
