of the table, & putting his hand on her beautiful

silver plate, beautiful porcelin fomerly belonging to the Spainsh

by Joseph Bonaparte, on King of Spain

Shortly after the arrival of Thos. T. from Florida
we went together to Nashville. His principal
object was to sell the Nashville lot or part of
it, but in this he did not succeed. Mr. Campbell
& Col. Anderson have many friends & relations residing
there, and they had succeeded in throwing a
cloud over his title, which prevented the sales.

informed that Mr. Campbell had filed a bill in
the Chancery Court at McMinnville, to set up
the deed on the ground of fraud, & that he had made
Judge Williams a party, charging him, with having
participated in the fraud by going out from
the Court house, to Mr. Campbell's house, to take
Caroline; acknowledgment to the deed.
This information, excited Thos T. to a high degree
The Circuit Court of Warren, was then in session.
McMinnville; Judge Williams, presiding
