My dear Dr. Stearns,
I am so sorry that I haven't written you before this for I was arranged my studies with Mrs Russell last few days. I hope you will forgive me.
My school was started this morning. We have ten new girls this year. I am taking five subjects besides the music, American History, French, English History, English, Algebra, Reading and typewriting.
Dr Stearns: are you still busy? I think you must be, for there are so many boys in the Academy you have to take care of them.
Wishing you have a wonderful time and in good health. I will go to visit you in the Thanksgiving.
Sincerely yours,
Helen Tsai
P.S. Please remember me to Miss Jones, Mabel Makey and Ruth Makey.
