being the half of his salary as secretary to
the Trustees. The Secretary was directed to convey
to Mr Paton the thanks of the Senatus for his
liberal grant.

It was agreed that in future students should be
furnished with tickets of admission to their respective
classes, previously to matriculation. It was stated
by the Secretary that 61 Students had matriculated
in Arts and Divinity, of whom six had not
paid their matriculation Fee— theat the matriculation
Fees for the session amounted to $220, which together
with the balance of $4 in hand since
last year leave $224 at the disposal of
the Senatus for the Library.

It was arranged that the Examinations for degrees
should be held on the following days viz
in Classics on Saturday the 23rd Current. In Mathematics
on Monday the 25th, And in Mental and
Moral Philosophy and Logic on Tuesday the
26th, to commence each day at 10 O'Clock A.M.
with the Oral Examinations, that the written papers
in the respective classes be given out in the afternoons
of the above mentioned days, and that the
public Exhibitions and closing Exercises of the Session
take place on Thursday the 28th Current
beginning at 9 O'Clock A.M.
