the Executive Committee of the Trustees
to concur in authorizing the words "Graduates
and Under-Graduates" to be added after the
word "Professors", in the opening paragraph
Although a copy of the Address has already
been transmitted to Mr Pennefather the
Senate believe that no awkwardness can arise
from introducing the above mentioned words
in the Address to be presented to the Prince.
The Senate appreciate the sentiments of
loyalty entertained by the Graduates and Under-Graduates,
and are of opinion that their
expression in the way proposed would be
more appropriate than by the presentation
of a Separate Address.

The Secretary was requested to transmit
a copy of this Minute to the Secretary of
the Trustees, and Dr. Williamson undertook to
arrange with them any literal alteration
that may be necessary in the reading of the
Address, and to send a corrected copy to
Mr. Pennefather.

The Committee appointed to select patterns
of Hoods and Caps gave in the following
report, which was unanimously adopted
and ordered to be acted upon for Members of the
University by the Committee appointed for
these purposes, consisting of Professors Williamson
and Lawson, who associated with themselves
Professor Yates M.D.

I. Arts and Divinity.
