An extract from proceedings of a meeting of
the Board of Trtustees off the University of
Queen's College held 11th Augt. 1862 was read
in which the Senate are requested to prepare,
and submit for approval of the Board
of Trustees a code of laws for the government
of the College.

The Senate spent some time in revising the
laws and regulations previously in force
and a draft of Statutes, Rules and Ordinances
concerning the government and management
of Queen's College framed by a Committee of
the Board of Trustees. Closed with the benediction

Which day the Senate met and was
duly constituted with prayer by the Chairman
pro tem: Dr. Williamson.~
Sederunt Dr. Williamson Chairman
pro tem: Professors Mowat, Lawson and
Weir.
The minutes of former meeting were read
and approved of.

The Senate resumed the drafting of Rules,[sic]
and Regulations for the College.

The Senate adjourned till Saturday at
two O'Clock P.M.

Closed with the benediction.
