Senate
"The Senate and all the Professors shall
"constitute a Court to be called the College-
"Senate—five to be a quorum.

"The Senate shall confer Degrees in the several
"Faculties and shall exercise Academical
"Supeintendence and Discipline over the
"Students and all other persons within the
"College.

"The Principal either at his own
"option, or on the written application of
"two Professors to him, shall from time to
"time instruct the Secretary to call meetings
"of the Senate, or in the event of the
"Principal's absence, it shall be competent
"for any two Professors by written applications
"written or printed notice of all meetings
"to be given by the Secretary or in his
"absence by some other Professor, at least
"two days previous to the time of meeting.

"The Principal shall preside over the
"Senate, and in his absence the Senior Professor
"present, the presiding member to
"have only a casting vote.

"The Senate shall have power to associate with
"themselves Examiners of the Candidates for
"Degrees in the different Faculties and to
