Faculties.~
"A Dean to be nominated by each of the
"Faculties of Law and Medicine subject to the
"approval and appointment of the Trustees
"shall preside over the Meetings of said Faculties, or
"in his absence the Senior Professor present.
"The Dean of each Faculty shall, either at his
"own option, or on the written application of
"two Members thereof, instruct the the Secretary
"to call meetings of such Faculty, or in the event
"of the Dean's absence, it shall be competent for
"any two members to do so.

"Each Faculty shall superintend the studies
"in its own department, and suggest to the
"Senate and the Board of Trustees any changes
"deemed necessary in the Curriculum.

"The duties of the Secretaries of Faculties shall
"be to conduct the correspondence of the
"Faculties, keep the Minutes, file with
"proper indorsements and preserve all papers etc.

"The order of business to be observed at the
"Faculty-Meetings shall be the same as that
"prescribed for the Senate.

"The Faculties of Arts and Theology shall
"meet from time to time for the discharge of
"such general business, as has heretofore devolved
upon them. It shall be their duty
"to regulate the terms of Competition, and to award
all Scholarships, Bursaries, and general
"prizes not otherwise determined.

"Professors shall see to the regular attendance
of students upon their lectures.
