Sederunt Dr. Williamson Chairman
pro tempore, Professors Mowat, Lawson,
Dickson, H. Yates, Kennedy and Weir.
The minutes of former meeting were read
and approved of.

The Senate having under consideration
the abusive attacks of Dr. Stewart in "The
Argus" on Queen's College, agreed to bring
the matter under the notice of the Trustees
and to urge upon them the necessity of
seeking redress.

Mr. George Lunn's Diploma from Belfast
College certifying that he has passed
through a regular Collegiate Course in
that Institution was laid before the
meeting by the Secretary, who stated
[margin]x made[/margin]that the said Mr. Lunn had [insert]x[/insert] application
through him for the Degree of B.A. from
this University. The Senate agreed that on
Mr. Lunn's undergoing a Satisfactory
Examination, said application would
be complied with.
