Queen's College 9th January 1863.
Which day a meeting of the College Senate
was held for the purpose of electing a new
Governor for the Hospital.

Sederunt The Very Reverend Principal Leitch
Professors Williamson, Horatio Yates, Lawson,
Kennedy and Murray.

It was resolved unanimously on the motion
of Dt. Yates, that Dr. Kennedy should
be appointed Governor of the Hospital for
the ensuing year.~

Sederunt The Very Reverend Principal Leitch
Professors Mowat, Lawson and Murray.

After the Principal had constituted the meeting
by prayer it was resolved that $40
should be given for the purchase of books
for the Moral Philosophy Class and $30
for the purchase of Theological works. It was
further resolved to recommend to the Trustees
that they should order the printing of a
supplementary Catalogue of the Library and
the fitting up of a consulting Room to be
open daily to the students. The Senatus
