[margin]April 13th 1864[/margin] An application was made by Mr. M.
[margin]M.W. Mclean[/margin]W. McLean to be received as a candidate
[margin]candidate for[/margin]for the degree of B.A. and certificates were
[margin]degree of M.A.[/margin]presented by him of his having gone through
the regular Arts curriculum of four years at
the University od Glasgow. The Senatus agreed
to comply with his request, and the
Professors and the Tutor in Classics were
requested to furnish the Senatus before the
next meeting with a note of the books and
subjects on which Mr. McLean will be examined
next session.

[margin]Application of[/margin] An application was received from Mr.
[margin]D. Fraser for[/margin]Donald Fraser for the Kingston scholarship
[margin]Kingston schol-[/margin]awarded last session to Mr. McGeachy. The
[margin]arship[/margin]Secretary was instructed to write to Mr. McGeachy
and ascertain from him whether
he intends completing his curriculum at
this University. The Senatus firther agreed
to confer the scholarship on Mr. Fraser, (as
he ranked second at the examination) provided
that Mr. McGeachy shall intimate
his intention of not returning as a third year
student.
