[margin]Students who are[/margin]It was agreed to recommend the payment
[margin]to receive bursaries[/margin]of the seond instalment of their bursaries
to the following students, Messrs Hunter,
Hamilton, Lamont, McCaul, Smith, McDonald,
Evan Macaulay, Lockhart, McLean,
Donald Macaulay, Elias Mullen, and Morgan
Lane, and a full bursary to Mr. John Reid
Ross, he not having yet received his first instalment.
It was agreed to request Dr. Henderson[?]
to examine the thesis of Mr. Thibodo
it being on a legal subject.
[margin]W.W. Squire recom-[/margin] It was agreed to accept the thesis of
[margin]for M.A.[/margin]Mr. Squire, and to recommend that gentleman
to the Senate for the degree of M.A.
[margin]Students of 1st year[/margin]The Senatus then examined arally
[margin]examined[/margin]students of the first year in all the subjects
of their course.
The Senatus adjourned till tomorrow
at 9 o'clock A.M.
