The Senatus met and was constituted.
Sederunt Dr. Williamson in the Chair,
Professors Murray, Bell, and Mowat, and
Mr. Donald Ross, Lector in Classics and Fellow
of the University.
The minutes of the last meeting were
read [and] approved.

[margin]3d year students passed[/margin] The following students of the Third
year on a review of their written papers and
oral answers passed the University Examination,
ranking in the order of their
names; and the Senatus agreed to recommend
them to the Senate for the degree
of B.A.:

1. Donald Fraser with honours in all the classes
2. William McLennan " " " " " "
3. William Bethune with honours in classics & extras
4. Josias J, Bell with honours in mathematics, physics & philosophy
