[margin]results of Xmas. exam-[/margin]The results of the Christmas examination
[margin]ination announced[/margin]were announced to the students.

[margin]Application from[/margin]Mr. Evan C. W. McColl who as a student
E.C.W. McColl of[/margin]of the second year attended the University
[margin]McGill College[/margin]of McGill College until the Christman examinations
were completed applied to be admitted by
this University ad eundem statum, and there
was read a certificate to the above effect from the
Dean of the Faculty of Arts. As the sertificate did
not bear that Mr. McColl had been examined in
mathematics, the Principal was requested to ask
from him an explanation of this omission, and
to make such further ewnquiries of him as he
may deem necessary.

Rev. J. H. McKerras Interim Professor of Classics.

The minutes of last meeting wer read and
approved.

[margin]E.C.W. McColl ap-[/margin]The Principal reported that Mr. Evan C.
[margin]plicant from McGill[/margin]W. McColl had explained to him that he had
[margin]College admitted[/margin]not passed the Christmas examination in mathematics
at McGill College in consequence of
his not knowing till too late the nature of
the examination. The Senatus agreed to accept
his certidficate from McGill College as
far as it goes, to admit him as a student
of the second year as regards Classics, Logic,
[right align]and[/right align]
