[hon]ours in Classics and Mathematics; Robert Campbell,
with 1st class honours in Natural Science; James Alexander
McDowall, with 1st class honours in Mathematics,
and 2nd class honours in Classics and Natural
Science; William Jeffreys Muckleston; Alexander
Nicholson, with 1st class honours in Classics,
Rhetoric and Natural Science. Meford William
H Fuller, and John Milnes Macdonnell
after undergoing an oral as well written examination
were declared to have passed the Primary
Examination. Mr John Henry Nimmo was
declared to have passed the Primary Examination,
but not having obtained one fourth of
the marks in Mathematics the Senatus resolved
to require him to be reexamined in Mathematics
during the summer vacation, on a day to be appointed
by Prof. Williamson.

J.P. Macpherson recommended for M.A.

The thesis of Mr. James Pennington Macpherson
was sustained, and it was agreed to recommend
him to the Senate for the degree of Master
of Arts.
