A number of excuses for absence from
prayer was disposed of.

Messrs Murray and McKerras were
appointed a Committee to consider how the
Arts Professors might best discharge the
duty of visitors of the County Grammar
School according to the terms of affliliation.

Memorial anent
examination in
Natural History
[/margin]

There was read a Memorial from
the third year students asking that the examinations
in Natural History, be deferred
till Tuesday the 12th. The Senatus refused
to grant this request believing that existing
arrangements sufficiently met the convenience
of the Memorialists.

Pby. for scholarship

There was read an Extract minute
of the Presbytery of Kingston recommending
Mr. Joseph Gaudier for the Presbytery Scholarship.

be examined in Porteous
Evidence

It was agreed that the third year
students of the three years curriculum shall
be examined in Porteous's Evidences for the
Degree Examination
