The Senatus met and was constituted
Sederunt Principal Snodgrass, Professors
Williamson, Murray, Bell, MacKerras and
Mowat.

The minutes of last meeting were read
and approved.

second examination

The Senatus agreed that Charles E. McIntyre
shall be allowed in consideration of
his severe sickness during the present and last
sessions to undergo the second examination
at the beginning of next session, and if successful
to rank as a third year student.

Mr Muir's Thesis
rejected
[/margin]

In accordance with the report of the
Committee the Senatus declined after
consideration to accept Mr. Muir's Thesis.

Amounts for prizes
next session
[/margin]

It was agreed to ask from the Trustees
the same amounts for prizes for next
session as have been received for the present
session with the addition of $3 for Prof.
Murray's Department.

Suggestions to
Trustees anent
decrease of students

The Senatus passed the following
minute and instructed the Clerk to transmit
it to the Board of Trustees: Where
as the supply of students intending to enter
the Holy Ministry is annually decreasing
- an evil felt and acknowledged by almost
all Churches in this as in the parent
land - and whereas it is of the utmost
consequence that steps be at once taken to
ar[rest]
