The Senate met and was constituted.

The minutes of last meeting were read and
approved.

The Senate passed the following resolution:
Inasmuch as George Elliott a registered
student in Arts has not attended morning
prayers or classes for a considerable time, although
previously and repeatedly admonished respecting
his irregularity and inasmuch as it is known
to the Senate that he has no excuse for his
non-attendance, and his parents have been under
the impression that he was at College when
he was not, and inasmuch as such conduct
is a gross breach of the discipline and statutes of
this institution - resolved that his name
be removed from the Class Rolls and from
the roll for morning prayers and that he
be not admitted as a student for the remainder
