The Theses of Rev Duncan Morrison, Owen
Sound, Rev. Kenneth McLennan, Whitby, Rev.
Charles J Cameron, Bombay, Mr A.F. Dupuis,
Kingston, Mr. Thomas Hart, Perth, and Mr.
John R. Thompson, Prince Edward Island, were
sustained according to the reports of the respective
committees and the Senate resolved to confer
and hereby do confer on each of the above mentioned
gentlemen, the degree of Master of Arts.

Kerr and Fenwick
examined orally

The Senate examined orally H.A. Fenwick
in Greek, John S. Kerr in Mathematics and
Bible History, and James E Burgess in Bible
History and on a review of their written examinations
along with the oral examination just specified
sustained the University Examination
of K.N. Fenwick as an undergraduate of the
first year without rank and of John T. Kerr
as an undergraduate of the second year without
rank.

The Senate sustained the University examination
of the following candidates for graduation,
named in the order of merit
1. James E Burgess
2. John C Cattanach
3. John M. Macdonnell
and resolved to confer and hereby do confer
upon each of the above named gentlemen the degree
of Bachelor of Arts.

The Senate having received the necessary
recommendations resolved to confer and
hereby do confer the degree of Doctor of Laws on
Mr Peter McLaren, Rector of the Grammar
School, Renfrew, Scotland and the degree
of Doctor of Divinity on Rev. Peter Grant
