Queen's University February 25th 1870

The Senate met and was constituted.
Sederunt Principal Snodgrass, Professors
Williamson, Mowat, Murray, MacKerras,
Dupuis, and Ferguson.

The minutes of the last meeting were read
and approved.

The Senate agreed to admit Samuel
Bridgland a matriculated student of the
University of Victoria College as an undergraduate
in medicine.

medical examinations

The Senate agreed that the primary
and final examinations in medicine be
held on the undermentioned days at two
o'clock P.M., and that each written examination
be conducted by the examiners as follows:

Chemistry and Toxicology Mar. 9 Prof Dupuis & Dr. Fowler
Theory & Practice of Medicine " 10 Drs. Fowler & Skinner
Anatomy " 11 " Sullivan & Dickson
Surgery " 14 " Dickson & Sullivan
Institutes of Medicine " 15 " Neish & Lavell
Obstetrics " 16 " Lavell & Neish
Botany & Medical Diagnosis " 17 " Dupuis & Lavell
Medical Jurisprudence " 18 " Kennedy & Fowler

These examiners were also appointed
to examine the theses of intending graduates
in medicine as they may arrange among
themselves.

The Principal, Professors Williamson,
Murray and Ferguson were appointed a
Committee to consider the curriculum for
graduation in connection with the new department
in charge of Professor Ferguson.
