Murray, English Language under Prof. Ferguson,
and Natural History, under Prof.
Dupuis, and the Secretary was instructed
to give an extract of this resolution to the
Principal for submission to the Board of
Trustees with the request that the Board
would sanction the proposed arrangement.

Bylaws affecting
students
[/margin]

The following Bylaws affecting
students were agreed to and ordered to be
transmitted to the Board of Trustees for
their sanction with the view of their being
printed for the information of students.

[By Law] Matriculation
Matriculation shall mean the act of taking
rank or obtaining promotion as an
undergraduate, by passing the University
Examination at the commencement of a
session.

[By Law] Registration
All students, whether Matriculants
or not, must have their names and
other particulars entered annually in the
University Register, and when presenting
themselves for registration must produce
the Treasurer's receipt for fees. When registering
for the first time they must produce
a certificate of character and sign
the declaration which Matriculants subscribe.
These requirements having been attended to
they shall be entitled to Registraiton
tickets.

[By Law] Boarding
No Student shall be allowed to board
or lodge in any house which is not approved
