Rev. John Gray's
application for B.A.
[/margin]

There was read a letter from the Rev.
John Gray enquiring on what conditions
the degree of B.A. would be conferred
on him. The Senate resolved that Mr.
Gray's attendance at King's College Aberdeen
during session 1838-9 and 1839-40, and
at Knox's College Toronto during sessions
1846-7 and 1848-9, be taken as an equivalent
for what was then the graduation course at
this University, and that on his producing
certificates of said attendance, and passing
the examination which the Senate usually
appoints in cases similar to this, he shall
be eligible for admission to the degree of
B.A. at the first statutory meeting thereafter
for the conferring of degrees.

Closed with prayer.
