The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Snodgrass, Professors
Williamson, Mowat, Mackerras, Dupuis,
Ferguson, and Watson.

The minutes of the meeting held March
30th were read and approved.

The Senate appointed Dr. Williamson
and Prof. Dupuis to examine R.J. Craig's
Thesis, and Professors Ferguson and Watson
to examine Matthew Macgillivray's Thesis.

Clapp
[/margin]

There was read an application from
David P. Clapp, undergraduate of the first
year to be exempted from the University
examination in order that he may be able
to obtain the school at Inverary of which
he is required to take charge on the first
of April. The Senate acceded to this application
on condition of Mr. Clapp's matriculating
next October.

There was read a letter from Thomas
Wilson, undergraduate of second year, stating
that he could not be present during
the first week of the University Examinations
