The Senate adjourned to meet this evening
at 7.30.

Closed with benediction

In the evening the Senate again met
as agreed and was constituted with prayer.

the addition of Prof. Watson, Prof. Williamson
being absent.

The Senate resolved that in order
to pass on a subject at any pass examination
candidates must obtain at least one third of
the number of marks allotted to the subject.

The Senate passed the following minute
in regard to the work of undergraduates
of the fourth year and the scholarships open
to them: 1. Open scholarships awarded to
students being successful candidates for graduation
in which they are awarded. 2. The
scholarships open to students being candidates
for graduation this session are St. Andrew's,
Kingston, for German, and Prince
of Wales. 3. The work prescribed to students
going up for graduation this session shall
not be disminished in order to enable anyone
to compete for a scholarship.

year, the Senate resolved that he shall be
allowed the option between history and natu[ral]
