Queen's University April 3d 1877
The Senate met and was constituted.
Sederunt Principal Snodgrass, Professors
Williamson, Mowat, Mackerras, Dupruis,
Ferguson and Watson.
The minutes of the last meeting held
March 30th were read and approved.
In compliance with a request of the
Science class it was agreed to change the
day of the University examination in
natural science from the 18th to the [ ]
In compliance with an application
from James [Goode] it was agreed to sustain
as sufficient his attendance at the
classes he has taken this session and also
his attendance in Honour Greek and Senior
Greek classes last session.
The Senate resumed its consideration
of the letter received from the
Reigstrar of the Royal College of Physicians
and Surgeons, and resolved as
follows:
1. That the Senate regrets to learn
that in the opinion of the Faculty of the
Royal College there has not been for
some time a cordial feeling between the
senate and the Faculty; is not conscious
of any want of good feeling on its part
towards the Faculty of the Royal College;
and [] the Facultyof its desire to
maintain such good feeling
2. That as regards to the subjects of the
communications addressed by the Secretary
of the Senate to the Registrar of the Royal
College of date March 24th the Senate is
