My dear Mr. Tumulty:

The new Minister of Haiti, Mr. Solon Ménos,
has called on the Secretary to pay his respects and has
inquired when it would be convenient for the President
to have him call at the White House for the purpose of
presenting his credentials.

If you will be so kind as to let me know
when it will be convenient for the President to receive
Mr. Ménos I shall be glad to so advise the Legation.
