June 20. Cambridge.
This evening I poisoned all
my Colorado plants.
Rollie called and bade us
goodbye. He goes to-morrow
home to Chicago. I have
given him some dryers and
he will doubtless press
me some western plants.

June 21 — Cambridge.
Went up to Mother's after
dinner. Took up my press
and secured the following
plants which I have
put in press —
Silene inflata.
Robinia pseudoacacia —
Trifolium repens —
{Trifolium} pratense —
Medicago lupulina —
Leucanthemum vulgare —
Capsella bursa-pastoris.

The locust is in full flower
and looks beautifully.
Bought a quart of Poison.

June 24. Cambridge.

This P.M. I poisoned a
large quantity of plants
and those left in my press
are nearly dry. The
Iris versicolor I dug up
for Mrs. Minot last year
is in full flower in her
garden near the barn —
