To Candie Angelico

Take the greenest & youngest stalks of Angelico
steep them in cold water 3 days & change the water every day,
then boyle them till they be tender, then take them up &
drayne the water from them, soe weigh weight for weight of
Sugar, & give them a boyle once a day for a week & that
greens it, then take them up & role in Sugar. soe set them a
drying

To Make a Seercloth for Ach or bruise

Take of the best Oyle Olive one pint of
red lead, half a pound finely powder'd yallow
wax a quarter of a pound shred, set the Oyle
on the fire with the wax in a scillet when the
wax is all melted strew in the Lead, stirring
