Tuesday January 24th 1826

These 24 hours light winds and
pleasant. Saw 3 right whales.
Killed and cut in one large one.

Wednesday January 25th 1826

First and middle part light
winds and calm. Latter part light
winds from the Northward. Stear
to the Westerward at 6 PM. Got
soundings 65 fathoms water.

Thirsday January 26th 1826

First part light winds and pleasant
from the Northward. At 8 PM spoke
the ship Enterprise of Houvre de Grace.
950 bls oil. Latter part fine
weather. Lat 42.24
