weather from the Westerward.
Middle part fresh gales from
the NN West.
Latter part light breezes.
Employed in mending the
misen top sail. Saw nothing.

Wednesday February 8th 1826

These 24 hours light winds
and fine weather. Saw some
whales. Spoke the brig Draggoo[n] [Dragon]
of New Bedford Sherman
15 month out 700 bls of oil.

pleasant from the North.
Middle part light airs.
Latter part a fresh breeze
from the South. Saw severa[l]
