Friday March 31st 1826

All these 24 hours light winds and
calm. A plenty of whales. Chased
got nothing. Lat 44–09

Saturday April 1st 1826

First part light winds from south
to N West. Some rain. Saw
several whales. Got one and
cut him in. Latter part a
fine breeze. Spoke the Hannibal
bound home 2000 bls of oil.

Saw several whales. Killed 3
sunk 3. Took one along side
and cut him in. Stowed 40 bls.
