These 24 hours light winds
from the southward and
Westward. Take in sail at
night. Make it in the
morning and stear to
the Southward N [bottom?].
Saw a few whales got
nothing. Saw one ship.

Wednesday April 12th 1826

These 24 hours light
winds and pleasant
from the NW to N East
Spoke the schooner Washington
of Boston from [???]
bound to the Falkland
Islands. A [sealing?] sold him
a boat and let him have
2 men. Cut in one whale.
Spoke the Enterprise of
Houvre de Grace Gardner
wanting one whale.
