This is my first marine card - there is no serial number in the place for a serial number. There is a number in the upper left corner. Do I use that number for serial? I didn't see a note on what to do if the number was missing.
In addition. the name of his birth place is fgven as Monte Hellthe, Ind. Do I type it exactly as read or transpose it to read Monticello, Indiana or leave it blank?
