I do hope you are not go-
ing to call your locale{underlined}
by any other name than
Sewannee{underlined} -- a good sound
aboriginal name. "University
place" -- sounds like a street{underlined}
in a city: you can never
make a name of it -- like
"Oxford", "Cambridge", or "Eton" &
"{illegible: Harrow? Harvard?}". This is very im-
portant: the young men will
need a rallying cry like --
"Floreat Etonia" -- "Floreat Can-
tobrigia &c" Floreat Sewannea
will not be bad. Don't let them spoil
