is inaugurated, -- the large liberal-
ity which is responding to the
broad forecast of its founders,
giving it an endowment which
will place the infant college
in advance of many a long
established institution -- the
peculiarly felicitous choice of
a central, healthy & accessible
location, -- all give an attrac-
tiveness to this movement
such as seldom belongs to the
laying of corner stones for colleges.
