November 9: quite rough - Keeper waiting on Mrs. Plummer - 1st and 2nd Asst killing two pigs one for Keeper & one for 2nd asst.

10: Light wind to moderate breeze N. West to East these 24 hours with clear fine weather - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - Keeper & 2nd asst cutting and packing two pigs - Keeper also waiting on Mrs. Plummer - 1st asst went to Newport.

11: Light East & S. East wind & calm these 24 hours with clear fine and warm weather during 24 hours - Sea very smooth - General duties for the day - Keeper waiting on Mrs. Plummer - 1st asst went fishing - 2nd asst went over to Newport - Steamer Willamette Vally sailed today.

12: Light N. East & North wind & calm these 24 hours with clear fine and warm - Sea very smooth - General duties for the day - Keeper waiting on Mrs. Plummer - Mr. Isaac L. Smith 2nd asst left the station for Portland at 2 P.M. as a witness on the Alac Blanchard case. 1st asst went fishing.

13: Light East to N. & N. West wind these 24 hours with clear fine and warm weather - Sea quite smooth - General duties for the day - Keeper repacking pork - 1st asst working in the garden and also went fishing today.

14: Light wind to fresh breeze East these 24 hours with clear fine and warm weather during 24 hours - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Had one visitor today - 1st asst went fishing - also went to Newport after mail & medicine.

15: Moderate breeze to light wind N. East to East & S. East & South first part of 24 hours with fair weather - Last part of 24 hours light S. to N. West wind with thick damp weather a part of the time - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for day - 1st asst went fishing - 1st asst also showing visitors in tower - Had seven visitors today - Keeper went over to Newport after some medicine for Mrs. Plummer.

16: Fresh to moderate breeze N. West these 24 hours first part of 24 hours little damp - Last part of 24 hours fair and little cool - Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - Had one visitor today - 1st asst went fishing and to Newport after some medicine for Mrs. Plummer.

17: Light N. West to variable winds and calm these 24 hours with clear fine cool & frosty - Sea very smooth - Keeper waiting on Mrs. Plummer and digging ditch in garden today - 1st Asst Edward Rice went fishing today.

18: Light variable to North wind these 24 hours with clear fine and cool weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - 1st Asst Edward Rice went fishing today - Steamer Willamett Valley arrived from Sanfrancisco for Yaquina city. 2nd asst Isaac L. Smith returned from Portland at 3:30 P.M. where he has been as a witness on the Alac Blanchard case.

19: Light variable wind to moderate breeze S. East these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours clear fine weather - Last part of 24 hours little cloudy - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - 1st asst went fishing - The barometer is 29.82 at 4 P.M.

20: Gale to moderate breeze S. to W.N. West these 24 hours with frequent rain showers during 24 hours - Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - 1st asst putting dressing on the garden - Also went to Newport after mail & supplies.

21: Light variable wind first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light S.E. to South wind with frequent rain moste of 24 hours - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - 2nd asst has a very bad cold - Steamer Willamett Valley sailed today - 1st asst went fishing.

22: Fresh to strong breeze East these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours fair weather - Last part of 24 hours rain - Sea very smooth - General duties for the day - Keeper went to Newport after supplies & medicine for Mr. Smith & Mrs. Plummer.

23: Gale East to S. East & South with rain first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours fresh breeze South with light rain showers - Sea rough - General duties for the day - 2nd asst cold is much better - Ms. Plummer is also gaining every day.

24: Gale to fresh breeze these 24 hours with rain squalls during 24 hours - Sea very rough and very heigh tide - General duties for the day - The barometer is down to 29.20 most of 24 hours - 1st asst went to Newport after mail.

25: Moderate breeze to light wind S.W. to West N. West first part of 24 hours with frequent light rain showers.
