Could not find a town named Lake in Spencer County. Floyd Byers 1920 Census Records shows he lived in a town named Luce in Spencer County.
I am from Spencer County. I am not aware of a town named Luce, but there is a Luce township. There is an old map of Spencer County that shows Lake Post Office which had the name changed to Richland City in Luce township in Spencer County, Indiana.

Place of birth I believe should be Saxton, MO.
A post office called Saxton was established in 1872, and remained in operation until 1938.[2] The community was named after Albe M. Saxton, the original owner of the town site.
