??? Honourable the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee.
???f a number of Citizens of Davidson & Williamson Counties, humbly sheweth,
??? extent of those Counties renders it extremely inconvenient for your Petitioners
???ts, General Musters, Elections &c. at the towns of Nashville & Franklin, & then
???icioney of territory agreeably to the Constitution, to form a new County,
??? bound hereafter to be described & leave Constitutional bounds to the old
??? your petitioners therefore think you will consider our situation & grant us
??? with the following boundaries, viz: begining on the top of a ridge
???tuaton of Stones River & Mill-Creek in the Williamson County line.
???ardly with said ridge, so as to leave all the waters of Mill-Creek and
??? Williamson County untill the ridge intersects with the new Eastern
???s of said Williamson County;- thence continue South with said line
???om ^boundary of this State - thence with the State line East to the corner of
???th; thence with the line of Wilson County ???? & Northwardly
???in said County line to an [Elan?] & [Alhill?] As???ance of Wilson
???ish is North East from the mouth of Hurricane Creek; thence South
???he Mouth of Hurricane Creek which is four miles ??? six poles; thence
???outh of Hurricane Creek Southwest to the top of the first mentioned
??? with said ridge Southwardly to the begining, and your petitioners ???
