The Pacific Grove Retreat Association met to hold
its Annual Meeting, Thursday June 20th 1895 at
5 P.M. in the Museum Building, Pacific Grove, the
President F.F. Jewell in the chair.

The meeting was opened with prayer by Rev.
R Bentley.
Present. F.F. Jewell, T.H. Sinex, S.L. Kellogg, J.W.
Whiting, M.C. Briggs, R Bentley, H.B. Heacock

Minutes of last meeting were read.
The Secretary, presented his Annual report
which was accepted and ordered spread on the
minutes.

Secretary's Report.
Gentlemen, The Secretary's Report required to be
made to the Annual Meeting, contains this year
nothing of extraordinary interest.

As you are aware, our business last summer
was interfered with by the stryke on the
Rail Roads just at the time when visitors
were most expected.

The usual meetings and conventions will
be held this year, closing with the Annual Conference
of the M.E. Church in September.

Nothing very serious has occurred in relation to
the restrictions on the use of property.

The city government has expended more work
in cleaning streets, improving the Park and
providing for removal of garbage, than
heretofore.

Our relations with the P.I. Co. are still
very agreeable.
