Chilly showery day.
Got up at 9 & went out for milk, and Jack Andreson caught me & yarned for ½ an hour.
Found on verandah : cookies, pumpkin, spinach, fowls' food & other things left by Delys.
4 real fresh eggs.
Had to waste time on a letter to Mrs Woolacott because she wants to know what her husband has been telling me.
I know his kind of silliness _ hope hers is not as intense as he depicts.
