Fine day some clouds. Wore blue coat & skirt & went to town. Met Prof Sutherland on street with Lillian. Also ran into Geo. Ashton & Aunt Lena - quite unusual to see anyone I knew. Home by 3.30 exhausted. Did pasting of essay copy at night & to bed by 10.30.
